Tournament Crowns it's 4th State Champions
A new way to grow the game and your bottom line!

On Saturday, October 4th, the “championship for everyone” crowned its state champions. Hawk Hollow Golf Course in Bath was the site of this annual Golf League Championship (GLC) tournament. The field of golfers from leagues all around the state who have registered with this unique league management program offered by the Michigan Golf Course Owners Association, where of any skill level. As a winning team from their home course league, Bill Horal and Roger Vervaet of Huntmore Golf Club in Brighton were invited to play in the Championship. They showed up dressed in Huntmore apparel and had the “karma” going for them that day. The Tournament is scored as match play by hole against the field.

The Michigan Golf Course Owners Association (MGCOA) and Handicomp, a Grand Rapids based internet handicapping and industry information provider, teamed together to make Golf League Championship season functional and feature rich, culminating with the crowning of the State League Champions on October 4th . Any golf league can participate. The golfer participating in the Golf League Championship has enjoyed instant access to their league information via the Internet. A statewide network of league golfers has been united by the MGCOA-GLC and league golfers get the chance to play in an annual championship-style tournament.
